Down at the far south end of Whidbey Island along Sandy Hook Dr are wonderful homes right on the water, with beach access, private lots and even boat houses. Close to the Dave Mackie County Park is the small community of Maxwelton just a little farther north. There are homes right on the beach here as well from larger homes to small beach houses.
Up by Clinton there is a variety of different types of home from cliff houses overlooking the sound to homes down by the ocean and also homes around deer lake set just a little west of Clinton. The homes on either side of Deer Lagoon on the west side of the island provide easy access to Clinton while being set right on the beach for beautiful sunsets.
Watch the sunrise from your beach house in Langley just a few miles north of Clinton. With quick access to the Clinton-Mukilteo ferry you can certainly find your home away from home here. A few miles up the road from Langley is a wide spot in the road that gives access to water views that stretch to the mainland.
There are a few homes speckled around Baby Island Heights and these give the ultimate in privacy and spectacular views. On the other side of the island, just north of South Whidbey Island State Park Is a set of channels of land with homes on either side providing perfect water front homes to those with quick access to their boats or just a trip on the water.
Many homes up through Greenbank are tucked into the lush evergreen landscape with peek-a-boo views of the sound on either side. Up by Coupeville are homes lining the inlets and curves of the island, some with outstanding views of the mountains and sound and some with the territorial view of water right out your back yard. All of these homes vary in price and style.
Oak Harbor, the largest city on Whidbey Island provides the comforts of living in town with the added convenience of a home on the water. Beautiful homes line Oak and Crescent Harbor starting in the 100K's and going up to the millions. You are sure to find what you're looking for here.
And if these views were not enough, there is always the views of deception pass and the lovely bridge connecting the island to the mainland. There are homes high in the evergreens that give way to privacy and breath-taking views.
