After you have found the home of your dreams, you’re going to need help finding some resources. One resource that is necessary for you to know about is the Clinton/Mukilteo Ferry. This is important because it will be your main method of transportation from the mainland to the island. Another important resource is the Port Townsend/Keystone Ferry. This ferry is good to know about should you need to get to Port Townsend from Keystone, and vice versa. You’ll also want to know about the parks that are in the area, so be sure to visit the County and City Parks website. You will learn everything you need to know about the parks in the Whidbey area from County and City Parks. In addition, the Island County Government is an excellent resource to keep in the back of your mind. If you need a map to get around the island, the Washington State Department of Transportation has you covered. You can check the weather before you leave for work by visiting Weather.com.
